BROOKLYN WHITE

With more than 25 years holding various corporate marketing positions in the healthcare, financial services and software industries, Brooklyn launched Brooklyn White Consulting, LLC in 2023. She currently works part-time as the Parkinson's Program Coordinator for the Movement Disorder Division at the University of Alabama at Birmingham's Department of Neurology. Brooklyn is passionate about helping individuals diagnosed with Parkinson's disease (PD) connect to the important education and critical resources they need to live a quality life with PD. As long as her clients' services do not directly compete with the services offered by UAB, she can contract with your organization for marketing consulting and freelance copy/design services.

In addition to providing marketing consulting and freelance design services through Brooklyn White Consulting, LLC, Brooklyn recently launched Brook's Nook, which features her latest artistic projects, including a new "Alabama Blooms" art series and hand knitted chunky blankets. On weekends, you might find Brooklyn at a local vendor market, and her work is featured and available for purchase in several local boutiques and antique markets.

In July, 2024 - Brooklyn obtained her Art Therapy Practitioner Certification. She is currently building and launching programs designated to benefit symptom management for Parkinson's. She is available to host classes and workshops throughout Alabama.

Brooklyn added published author to her credentials in 2022 when she published "Sunsets and Silver Linings: Caring for Parents with Parkinson's and Lewy Body Dementia - a Daughter's Perspective." Brooklyn is passionate about sharing her father's very personal journey with Parkinson's and Dementia to help others along the journey. Sought after to be purchased by many publishers - Brooklyn chooses to remain self-published to better protect the story and ensure it gets into the hands of those who need it. Currently, she is dabbling in a long-term project with her first historical fiction novel.
