Brooklyn established Alabama Blooms in 2024. This art series began by capturing a bloom from the magnolia and dogwood trees, as well as the camellia bush her dad planted in his Chelsea, Alabama backyard decades ago from her camera at peak bloom. The photo then transformed into a realistic painting of each flower resulting in the abstract series available today.

Alabama Blooms Series - Established 2024
Inspired by Georgia O'Keefe and trained under renowned artist, Dr. Carl Gombert while at Maryville College, Brooklyn has always chosen acrylic on canvas as her favorite medium - and flowers as her favorite subject matter. "There is something special about being able to capture all the beautiful colors in one bloom or one petal and magnifying that for everyone to appreciate God's extraordinary beauty and creation for me," says White. This is can be found in her more realistic paintings over the abstract.

This series can be found in local shops in Chelsea, Alabama and at vendor fairs throughout the central Alabama region. Pieces can be commissioned and tailored by color and size. The below rates reflect one painting of any Alabama Blooms Series Flower. You can choose your colors and size. Thin canvas is ideal for paintings you wish to frame or display on an easel. Thick canvases can be used as a stand-alone piece or hung on the wall without framing. Frames may be chosen by style: modern or traditional, and by color.
